As a business owner it's important we connect with other like minded professionals and continue to embrace all forms of marketing and the effects thereof. In this article I'm going to share with you a way that you can start adding a rush of steady TARGETED traffic to your online business.

This is valuable information that will expand the growth of any business online!

Let's begin with a form of "shotgun" marketing that has literally built most of my businesses.

This form does involve "free thinking" and sometimes you may feel like you aren't working "hard" enough but trust me, when $1,000 checks come to your door in bulks of 50, you realize you should work harder!

Regardless of what industry your in and what product or service you market this is efficient and quite refreshing when the new friendships begin to build with its results.

Now how familiar are you with social networking and its direct influence in your viral market online? When you brand your name and make yourself known within these communities. This is a mighty advantage that can be leveraged by placing "ads".

On a social network like Myspace, it directs traffic to you and wherever you lead them to.

Placing an ad would consist of you leaving a comment on someone's page.(This is when it gets serious, so pay attention.)

Now lets say your leaving comments on pages with several hundreds views a day, and these views all see your unique message. Now if you had a link to a website or better yet your own Myspace page, set up accordingly, you would then start receiving the traffic from your comments!

Even on a small scale of adding only 50-175 friends a day can achieve steady traffic. But here lies the problem in getting TARGETED traffic, and the true purpose of this article reveals itself.

Using social networks to create this type of activity can be automated. If you stay consistent and choose, lets says 30 new friends a day.

The income producing acts would be to add them, post a comment, send a message and just get yourself out there.

Start creating communities within yourself that you market like your blog, and a custom group. Make sure to get your own domain name (this will be in tomorrow's blog) and use it and its sub-domains to create your own channel.

Now lets add another form of shotgun marketing that I love. Articles, articles, articles! Once more, just in case, articles!

The real genius is shown when you add article marketing with joint venture advertising with fellow business owners.

So let's assume you've written an article, and you'd like exposure for it and the information it contains. To do this easily and most the time for free. You can add it to several Article Directories such as

articledashboard.com

ezinearticles.com

This should be part of your article marketing regimen and if it's not, ADD IT! It will create tremendous targeted traffic to your campaigns, the beauty lies in the CONTENT in which you provide.

When you write an article or set up a campaign you'll want to setup a unique url each time so that your able to track it and for marketing.

This is where the fun begins!

Now you'll want to start locating the information of business owners that would benefit from your article.

The internet is an information database, and once you realize that. You'll see the importance of calling these people up or just sending them your article to appear on their site with your own link.

The reason your calling other website owners instead of just submitting your information to the directories is because you're now a marketer. And marketers SUPPLY A DEMAND; if you supply the demand of their site with your content, they get fresh content andyou get exposure.

The more of these type of relationships you build the more influence you'll begin to see in your writing. Also you can set up schedules where you provide them with content as it comes. This arrangement is also great for those wanting their sites to rank.

You'll want to create a channel that will add subscribers, refresh itself with content, and pay you indefinitely till you turn it off.

The reality of it is most people you market to for your online opportunity will not join; but they are still a potential client, if you then become a MARKETER.
